Buildings that got Smart

iBOS is a cutting-edge software application rooted in pioneering thermodynamic research conducted in the 1970s at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

At the time, researchers focused on using a building's natural thermal properties to regulate its climate. However, the technology to implement their findings wasn't yet available.

This changed in 2008 when a Swedish company successfully commercialized the research, developing it into the software known today as iBOS. The application is currently owned by Nordomatic, Scandinavia’s largest smart building system integrator. Today, iBOS has been installed in over 1,400 buildings worldwide.

iBOS was introduced to Canada in 2018 and now has more than 100 installations there. New World Strategies is proud to now be introducing iBOS into the United States.

Below are a few locations where it is implemented and the energy savings it is achieving.
